4th of July

Orientation was pretty standard, nothing too out of the ordinary to report there. I have made some friends out of our group of coops, we all go and get lunch together every day- it is definitely a nice break to go have lunch with some fellow college kids after being in an office for 5 hours ;)

I got out of work early on Tuesday to start the holiday early, so I went for a run by the river and stopped to hear the Boston Pops rehearsal for the big show in the 4th. It was great to hear the music without the fireworks, but that is to come later. The 4th was relatively relaxing, went to dinner with some friends then went to the river with a few of my friends from BC and had a great spot right on the bank of the river. The fireworks were absolutely amazing- hopefully the pictures do it some justice!
